At 7:30 PM on March 17, 2025, MERRY Corporation held a major news conference to announce the following: Merry Corporation's Board meeting on 2025/03/17 resolved to purchase 100% of the shares of MWT Holdings Co., Ltd. from Japan's funds such as J-STAR No.3 SS, LP(Non-related party with with MERRY  Corporation) with a total transaction value not exceeding JPY 10,278 million (equivalent to NTD2,261,160,000).Merry Corporation stated that this acquisition will leverage Merry's research and development and operational capabilities, combined with target company's strong customer base in the Japanese market, experienced Japanese R&D and business teams, and manufacturing capabilities in Thailand, to enhance market penetration in Northeast Asia and strengthen vertical integration manufacturing capabilities, thereby creating synergies.
